Siglo - Reserva - Rioja

Overview: Founded in 1890 and currently run by the family's 5th generation, a young and dynamic team that has turned Manzanos into one of the Rioja's largest growers with over 300 hectares of the own vineyards and 3 wineries, including Rioja's oldest winery in Haro as well as the oldest winery in neighboring Navarra. The Manzanos family works with local non-profit association Asprodema to produce Siglo's signature sac.

Tasting Notes: Tawny color of medium intensity. It stands out for its red fruits, prune and licorice scents wrapped in pastry, black pepper, and vanilla hints from the oak barrel. Round, with pleasant structure, balanced acidity, and elegant tannins. 

Pairing: Venison stew.
