Roof rack systems are great until you don't have one, and a well-made foam block carrier is a practical, reliable solution for getting a canoe on the road without permanent hardware.

Malone's Canoe Carrier Foam Blocks are cut from dense EVA foam with UV resistance and anti-tear strength built in, so they hold up through seasons of outdoor use without breaking down or compressing out of shape. The top cut-out is shaped to grip canoe gunnels firmly, keeping the boat from shifting laterally on the roof, while the non-skid bottom holds the block in place on bare roof surfaces without scratching the paint. The universal bottom cut-out fits round, square, and most factory oval load bars, so these work equally well with or without a roof rack system installed.
